COMI SpA was established in August in 1973 by the two partners Enzo Ballabio and Remo Sertori, withthe aim the designing and the production of thermoforming machinery, specifi cally for the refrigeratorsector, becoming in short time a milestone for multinational corporations of the sector.
      In 1994 COMI started the design and construction of Laser Cutting machines (3 and 5 axes) for plasticsand composites, in order to supply a “complete solution” to its Customers of the Automotive Industry.
      In 2008 COMI fi rst entered into the capital of TechMill srl, a Company producing CNC Machining Centresand Water jet cutting machines, becoming full owner in early 2011.
      In 2009 COMI SpA signed a partnership agreement with LDSA SA, a French leading company in thewaterjet fi eld, to jointly develop machines for the Automotive and Aerospace fi elds.
      In 2010 COMI SpA signed a cooperation agreement with AMUT SpA, an Italian leading company ofextrusion machines, to jointly develop a new technology for the production of inner doors machines with High Pressure technology and the fastest production output.
      In 2011 COMI SpA acquires CBM, a small Italian Company specialized in thermoforming machines forpackaging sector, in order to complete the COMI production line.
      In 2012 COMI SpA acquires BENAZZATO, an Italian Company producing Milling machining centres forheavy duty (steel, titanium etc).
      In 2013 COMI SpA and AMUT SpA join forces in the packaging fi eld to create a single company for theproduction of thermoforming from reel.
      In 2014 COMI SpA started the design and construction of presses for composites, rubber, thermosettingand special presses.
